John’s Rant: What to rant about?

We have a winner in the previous giveaway from Barn2 media for the WooCommerce product Table Plugin

We all know about the REST API by now (you know flying cars and everything  but some changes have been happening with it. Since 4.7 it became possible for people to make inquires to you website for information such as user list. This plugins shuts down all that functionality, if you are not using any of the REST features you may want to use this simple method for shutting down the REST API.

Before you shut down the REST API you might want to check and see if you are using it and not knowing or to evn just have a peek at what is being requested on your web site. This plugin makes that task easy, by just installing it and then checking the log to see what is being access on your site for what purpose.

Have a video that you want your website viewers to watch? Watching a video would typically restrict the viewer from viewing the rest of the webpage. Shrinking video solves that problem by shrinking the video to the upper right corner of the screen once the user scrolls past the video. Once the user scrolls back up to the page the video unshrinks and returns to its normal position.
