Listener Feedback / Audio Clips

Lynn has a questions about search for WordPress

 Greg has a similar question

Try search everything plugin works well

http://wordpress.org/extend/plugins/search-everything/

While this may be what Lynn needs it might not fill all your needs Greg but it does have some very nice customizations and you may be able to work with the authors for some serious customizations.

I listen to your wordpress podcast (wordpress plugins from A-Z) and its been a great help for me as I started as a complete wordpress beginner about 3 months ago when I took over managing and adding content to my site, and its been a steep learning curve but understanding the best plugins and what's out there, with the advice from your podcast has been a great help.

What I wanted to ask was to see if you know of a plugin that helps you easily share infographics?

I have a plugin for review on this later

World of WordPress News and other interesting WordPress related posts:

This week we had a major plugin that was crompromised the Social media widget downloaded over 900k times One I highly recommended and may be able to again since the author maintainer has helped take care of the issue see this thread http://wordpress.org/support/topic/anyone-know-why-social-media-widget-was-removed Join me on WP Medic show where i go more indepth on the issue of plugins being crompromised anfd the rise of the freemium/premium version over the next year.

WP RSS Multi Importer 2.62

The Lowdown:

Well in my quest to find a way to import the facebook wall to a website I had to find a new way to do it since the older plugin I had been using developed some flaws.. This plugin is more upto date and great in how it imports.. It is a bit tricky to get it all setup to properly import create posts and the place in a category but after you get it all setup it works out to be a great ;little plugins

WordPress Social Ring (Facebook Like, Google +1, ReTweet, LinkedIn and Pin It) 1.2.2

Infographic Embedder 1.0

The Lowdown:

This plugin makes it easy to add embed code to your infographic and you could use it for just about any image you like. Simply install this and whenever you make a post with an image you want people to be able to embed add the image url to the box provided then the plugin does the rest creating a block of code for sharing at the bottom of your post very nice I think.. It also creates a download link for folks.

This plugin adds a widget to the dashboard, listing the installed plugins and the date of their last update. The date is fetched from the WordPress.org plugins repository. Thus it is the date when the plugin was last updated on by the author, not the date of the last update in the WordPress installation. This list can be displayed in ascending and descending order of name and date of the last update.
