Web Hosting Support is usually not the first thing on most people’s minds when looking for a hosting service. Usually they are thinking about the cost and how soon they can get their site up and running. Then their minds start rushing forward to how they will monetize the site and get traffic coming to it. It is not until a problem arises that support comes on the forefront.
In the beginning while doing my research on web hosting I, like so many others, went to review sites and web hosting forums. I also went to different hosting sites and noticed that some didn’t have a phone number at all to reach the site’s support team. You had to contact them by email. As I read the forums I started to see people having problems with getting support for their website. People were making posts in the forums that their sites had been down for days and that they had not gotten a reply from the web hosting support team.
As I read more and more about support being such a major issue, I decided to make sure that I chose a web hosting service that would give me Live Support 24/7. I thought about all the hours I had put into my website to get it going and traffic coming to it and then to think if a problem happens and I couldn’t get the support to fix it fast how all of my hard work would go down the drain.
The hosting service you choose is you decision but be forewarned; choose one that will provide you with top-notch support. This is one of the most critical areas in hosting that I can think of. Your website is your business. Make sure it’s as important to your web hosting support team as it is to you.
